Welcome to TraduWEB (https://traduweb.com/). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of our translation, interpretation, and localization services. By accessing our site or requesting a quote, you agree to be bound by the following terms.


1. Services Provided

TraduWEB provides professional language services, including but not limited to:

  • Certified and standard document translation.

  • Simultaneous, consecutive, and remote interpretation.

  • Multimedia subtitling and dubbing.

  • Software and website localization.

2. Quotes and Accuracy of Information

  • Quotes: All quotes provided are based on the source material and project scope provided by the Client. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Client Responsibility: The Client is responsible for ensuring that the source documents provided are legible and that all specific terminology or stylistic preferences are communicated to TraduWEB before work begins.

3. Payment Terms

  • Individual Clients: Payment is generally required in full before the delivery of certified documents.

  • Corporate Clients: Terms are typically Net 30 from the date of invoice, unless a different agreement is reached in writing.

  • Late Payments: TraduWEB reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at a rate of 1.5% per month (18% per annum).

4. Interpretation Services & Cancellations

Due to the logistical requirements of interpretation (equipment rental, technician booking, and interpreter scheduling):

  • Cancellations made less than [e.g., 48-72] hours before the scheduled event may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the quoted price.

  • TraduWEB is not responsible for technical failures of third-party platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams) during Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI).

5. Confidentiality and Data Protection

TraduWEB treats all client documents as strictly confidential.

  • We do not disclose the contents of your documents to third parties, except for the linguists and project managers directly involved in the project.

  • All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Quebec’s Law 25 regarding the protection of personal information.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, the Client owns the copyright to the translated text.

  • TraduWEB retains ownership of any proprietary translation memories or glossaries created during the process, unless otherwise agreed upon in a Master Services Agreement (MSA).

7. Accuracy and Corrections

  • TraduWEB strives for the highest level of accuracy. If a Client discovers a factual error or a mistranslation, they must notify us within 10 business days of delivery.

  • TraduWEB will perform necessary corrections free of charge if the error is ours. We are not liable for errors resulting from ambiguities in the source text.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TraduWEB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits) arising out of the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the specific project in question.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the District of Montreal.
